    First of all thank you for your videos. They have helped me a lot! I have one question about your HSM video here:

    You said that the Issuer has shared the ZMK with the Embosser. Since Embosser has the ZMK, he can decrypt the ZPK, so he can read the PIN that is encrypted by the PVK. Doesn’t the Embosser need to know the PVK as well, so he can read the PIN?

  • PVK is used to open the PIN file on a personal level. Whereas ZPK is used to open the file which is shared on the network.
