    1. Customer input the pin 1234 (clear pin)

    2. POS: Clear PIN encrypted using ZPK to be PIN Block

    3. ACQ:

    – PIN Block decrypted using ZPK to be Clear PIN

    – Clear PIN encrypted using AWK to be PIN Block

    4. P.S:

    – PIN Block decrypted using AWK to be Clear PIN

    – Clear PIN encrypted using IWK to be PIN Block

    5. ISS:

    – Validate PIN Block using IWK and PVK

    – Compare with PIN Offset

     

    is my understanding above correct?

    if so, then ACQ and P.S can see the Clear PIN (1234)?
